Shipping policy

Orders are packed and dispatched from Honnavar, Uttara Kannada, within 2 working days of payment confirmation. Sundays and public holidays are not working days.

• Metro cities: typically 3–5 working days from dispatch.
• Rest of India: typically 5–7 working days.
• Free delivery on orders over ₹999. Below that, a flat delivery fee is shown at checkout before payment.
• A tracking link is sent by SMS, email or WhatsApp once the courier picks up.
• We ship within India only. No international shipping at present.
• If a courier does not service your pincode we will contact you and refund in full.

Refund & returns policy

Food products are not returnable once delivered, for hygiene and food-safety reasons. We do replace or refund in these cases:

• The pack arrived damaged, leaking or with a broken seal.
• You received the wrong product or the wrong size.
• The product is past its best-before date on arrival.

Tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the pack and the batch code, on WhatsApp or by email. We will replace the item in the next dispatch or refund it, your choice.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–7 working days of approval. Delivery fees are refunded only when the whole order is at fault.

Orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before dispatch. Once the courier has picked it up, it cannot be cancelled.

Privacy policy

What we collect. Name, delivery address, phone number and email, given by you when ordering or enquiring. Payment card and UPI details are entered on Razorpay's own checkout and are never seen or stored by us.

Why. To pack and deliver your order, send you order updates, and answer your questions. Nothing else.

Who we share it with. Only the people needed to complete the order: our courier partner, and Razorpay for payment processing. We do not sell, rent or trade your data to anybody.

Cookies. This site uses local storage on your own device to remember your cart. No advertising cookies and no third-party tracking scripts are loaded.

Your choices. Email or WhatsApp us and we will send you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Order records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Terms of service

• By placing an order you confirm the delivery details you entered are correct and that you are 18 or older.
• All products are non-vegetarian and contain fish or crustaceans. Do not buy if anyone eating has a seafood allergy.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees and are MRP, inclusive of all taxes.
• Product images and the pack artwork on this site are illustrative. Dried fish is a natural product: size, colour and texture vary batch to batch.
• We publish no nutrition or health claims until a NABL-accredited lab report supports them.
• An order is confirmed only once payment is received. We may cancel and fully refund an order if stock, pricing or serviceability turns out to be wrong.
• All content, artwork, photography and the Kadalu & Co marks on this site belong to the business and may not be reused without written permission.
• These terms are governed by Indian law. Jurisdiction: courts at Karwar, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka.
